Low Earth Orbit Numerical Analysis & Research Tools

The AGAT module was designed to provide antenna patterns for satellites or earth terminals. Different antenna models are provided:

• Feed models

The feed models which are available in AGAT are a theoretical cosine model, a pyramidal horn and a corrugated pyramidal horn.

• Feed Arrays

The feeds patterns can be used as input to the array simulation module, each element of the array being weighted in amplitude and phase.

• Reflector Antennas

Single beam and multi-beam reflector antenna models are available.The reflector antenna models models are quite simple ones (circular aperture models).

The AGAT simulations provide far field antenna patterns that can be displayed in different representations in the form of images or curves.
