How my pages are best viewed ?

How can I navigate around ?
To avoid the "spider net" effect, I try to organize my pages in a tree
structure. Obviously there are shortcuts everywhere, but at least there is
always a way from one page to another by crossing the tree's branches.
If you consider each page as a node (which has a father) in the tree,
you may find the following buttons at the bottom of the pages to help you
navigate :
RETURN TO THE TOP NODE
(my main page actually).
GO TO THE PREVIOUS CHILD NODE.
GO TO THE NEXT CHILD NODE.
RETURN TO MY FATHER NODE.
Moreover, when you find link lists with foot prints like this
you can be sure that this is the normal
path across the tree. (The pages linked there are really children of the
current page).
3D server configuration.
In order to deal with all the VRML stuff you can find in my pages,
you will need to do the following:
First get a VRML browser.
- If you don't know where to find one, refer to my
3d pages.
Then, put the following entry in your (local or server) mailcap file:
x-world/x-vrml; your_browser -URL '%u' -remote %s
- This way, each time your browser receives an x-vrml document, it will
start your VRML browser with the specified document.
Now if you want your transmit VRML documents from your own server
- Put this in the server mime.types file: x-world/x-vrml wrl
Now, all VRML documents you write must be named 'something'.wrl
That's it !!
Audio server configuration.
In order to be able to use the "direct audio contact", which is based on
multicast, you will need the following:
The multicast audio application named VAT.
Then, put the following entry in your (local or server) mailcap file:
application/x-vatp; vat `cat %s`
- This way, each time your browser receives an x-vatp document, it will
know what to execute. (Typically, it will execute vat with the document
content as command-line options.)
Now if you want your server to be able to do the same,
- Put this in the server mime.types file: application/x-vatp vatp
Now, all documents you write must be named 'something'.vatp
That's it !!
