Building a Critic System
Our purpose is to build a system able to discuss, in a natural way,
with a student about the events happened in a simulation or an exercise. This
system should be able to show to students, by showing them their
contradictions,
the misconceptions they have about the domain taught. The new points in our
approach lay in the mechanisms of the critic system. It's able to speak "like" a
human would do, and it plays the role of another student that try to understand what the real student is doing, rather than a tutor that would guide and
correct him.
